Why have you chosen Paris?
Originally from Sweden, specifically Stockholm, I am 27 years old. I moved to Paris in April 2021 to take up a position in marketing within an international company.
How is your experience with Sharies going so far?
My experience with Sharies is going very well; I currently reside in Paris 9 Edouard VII. I have managed to make many friends, which was my main goal, especially during the Covid period. Upon my arrival, I started spending time with my roommates and other residents, allowing me to expand my social circle even before starting my new job.

Additionally, I was fortunate that my company assisted me in finding accommodation, and that's how I discovered Sharies. Given the extension of my work contract, I plan to stay for at least six more months.
I believe Sharies is truly ideal for those looking to settle easily, especially when the duration of a project is uncertain or in cases of job rotation, as is my situation. The advantage of having furnished accommodation is that you don't have to worry about moving your belongings.
Sharies offers an all-inclusive service, which is extremely convenient, allowing you to focus on other aspects of your life, such as work.
How did you discover Sharies?
I discovered Sharies through Facebook, the 3D virtual tour on the site was very helpful, especially when I was not yet in Paris.
Do you have any memories you'd like to share?
There are so many! It really feels like being part of a big family. Of course, I value my privacy with my room and bathroom, but there's always the option to spend time with people whenever you want.
The events, whether organized by Sharies or ourselves, are always memorable. Our Halloween party was particularly fun, and recently, we enjoyed a delicious raclette. We cook together, sometimes successfully as a brunch, sometimes less so.

We even played pétanque with participants from five different apartments from Paris 9 Édouard VII, thanks to the games provided by Sharies. Events are a great opportunity to meet new faces and build connections.

For newcomers, what would you recommend?
I've managed to get in touch with other residents via the Sharies app, which is very useful for meeting new people quickly.
My advice for newcomers is to contact the residence manager or simply knock on doors. Sometimes, just crossing paths in the hallway can lead to new connections.
Which celebrity would you choose to live with?
I would choose Tom Holland, alias Spider-Man. He seems like a lot of fun!
What is your favorite dish that you enjoy cooking with your roommates?
Spaghetti carbonara. And chocolate mousse. Maybe not combined, though!
What do you do when you're not working?
I play 7-a-side football. I'm part of a mixed team here in Paris, and it's always a lot of fun.
